Who are MAAG?

We have been talking over the last few months with Clive Mishon and Graham Kemp of MAAG, the Marketing Agencies Action Group.

As you may know, there used to be a an organisation in UK called the MAA – Marketing Agencies Association. Sadly, it closed due to financial difficulties – but many members wanted to continue its good work and sociable spirit.

So Clive and Graham decided to re-launch a new association called the MAAG – Marketing Agencies Action Group.

Already, they have around 60 members, typically agencies with between 10 and 50 staff. - and a program of activities including members workshops, guest lectures, a diploma program and social events. They are also recognised as a trade body by the UK Government and represent the interests of Marketing agencies alongside other organisations like the IPA, the PRCA and the Advertising Association. What they don’t have, is any international connections. Which of course, we do.

Between us, we felt there was scope for a collaboration. Which we will officially launch on Tuesday October 15th.

So what are we offering? (beyond a free drink or two)

For sure, not all members of thenetworkone will wish to join MAAG and not all members of MAAG will wish to join thenetworkone.

But an agency with interest in what’s happening beyond UK, and a wish to attend more regular meetings and events within the UK – might wish to join both.

So we are launching a special offer. Join one, and get the other for half price. (It happens that our annual memberships cost the same).

Meaning, an annual subscription to thenetworkone is £2,650 GBP, so an upgrade to include MAAG would cost £1,250 GBP.
